Because she's a woman. Doesn't give me an actual reason, just says "I don't like them". I ask why, again, and get "I just don't" in return. They are functional as hell. Maybe it's because they are a little too "rugged" looking for her.

I hate to see her reaction when I put the bushwackers on, them she doesn't know about...

it'd be cheaper to get a new wife, rather than mod your truck to what she wants.

then again...

happy wife,
happy life!

How do those steps protect against rocks and such?

Great. Can hear a distinct "ting" everytime a rock hits them as opposed to the "doonk" when a rock hits my rockers...the finish is quite durable, it's a crinkle powdercoat finish in matte black.

i've been thinking about mudflaps myself.

it's been 3 years that i've owned the truck and i'm starting to get a bit annoyed over the ice and mud buildup on the original side steps.

and i'm also looking into a winch, my bday is in june and i gotta start planning things. even if it's the one gift i get myself lol

i'm wanting a warn, what do you guys think is the best one for our trucks?

I was gonna get a warn 10k with synthetic line. Probably just one of the entry level ones see if it lasts/how much I use it.

I believe I have the fx4 running boards you speak of sitting in my garage. I'd sell them for cheap, but I have my own plans on what I'm putting on my truck to replace them.
