Think I'm finally caught up on my snow plowing. Also got my sled fired up for the first time in two years, a 197x Bombardier Olympique. It's been stored in a covered building with no heat during those two years and to my surprise it only took about 10 pulls and the beast roared to life. Had a lot of fun ripping around in the snow for a few hours.

Ya Christmas time we got my father in laws sled going, although it had been sitting in a barn for 13years, gotta love the 1973 snow-mo-beast.

Although I'm caught up on snow plowing it crushed my plans to go to Nordegg for some hiking. I thought about winging it and leaving today, but considering I start up with ESRD on the 28th that doesn't allow me enough time if I want to stay an extra day, or God forbid get caught in another winter storm.

I might still make a day trip to Edmonton to hit up Cabela's.

It's nice out enough today for a road trip. I've spent about 4 hours walking around dealership lots helping a pal search for a truck. Kentwood is offering him quite a deal so I think he'll be owning a 2013 FX4 pretty soon. Took a dodge for a test drive today and was unimpressed by their new features.

is it possible to get an fx4 in a tri color interior like the xtr's?

i like the fx4's, but if you were to debadge it, you're stuck with just the red pinstriping on the inside that won't quite match the rest of the truck...

I won't deal with Kentwood for anything, way to many headaches dealing with them in the past, city ford is far better, and loyal to repeat customers

See, I've had the exact opposite. My friend and I went to City to look. The sales guy was VERY pushy and wouldn't give any solid numbers to use. He kept just saying he'll beat anyone's offer. My friend was emailing him before we went there and today he received 6 email by noon with out replying to one. That's ridiculous if you ask me. The sales manager at kentwood called him today once. And that was just to tell him he was approved for the financing and that the truck was his if he wanted and that they will hold it till nect weekend. My buddy said he'd be in Wednesday with an answer. The manager said ok and that was it. No pressure.
In my option City ford is too gimmicky and pushy. But again, that's just my opinion.

PS. We walked around Sherwood today but they were closed so we couldn't talk to anyone.... but man do they have a ton of selection!! Must be around 100 trucks there. I'm still trying to convince my buddy to get the EB if we can find one in the right trim.

remember... it's gonna be his truck, not yours. lol

you're just a passenger. lol.

you should get him to ask "even tho the truck i want is at another dealership, it's you guys i want to deal with. you bring in that truck to this dealership, and we've got a deal pending the numbers"

the dealerships will simply trade trucks... and your friend will get the truck he wants, not the truck you want him to get. lol...
