I chatted with Loni at Line-x and he advised to be sure there was enough clearance afterwards to remount the plastic liner. Yup... $535 + gst at Line-x Southside. Another buddy is telling me to go with Armorthane. Dunno...

I do a lot of custom painting and motorcycle work. Last year I decided to paint my motorcycle for the 3rd time. I went with Dupont Bedliner in the can. She looks pretty sweet - and bring on the gravel roads... it all just bounces off now.

I would attempt to use one of the kits but i'd rather just pony up the money and have it professionally done. A $7000 dual purpose bike is one thing. A $50K truck is another. I will mainly use it for construction purposes - so a liner that is more resistant to punctures is what i'm going for.

I've got line x, very happy with it... But, if your using it for construction you might be better off with a wood box liner. Seems it would be more durable and would be easier to replace the wood liner if it gets wrecked for whatever reason.. imo

So what ur saying is that with a 5Star tune those numbers vanish and ford can tell right away even if the truck's stock tune is put back on before the dealership work? I had ordered a Roush intake from the same dealership I bought my truck from and nothing was said whats so ever about it voiding warrenty.

Just trying to get all my info correct bec the warrenty is important for sure, but I just can't leave this awesome truck stock for too long. Too much power to be had with such little money really.
do more research

Depends on your dealer my truck is far from stock i had warranty work done twice now and both times were probably my fault. Dealer doesnt care depending what it is if they can submit to ford easy enough and get paid why wouldn't they do the work money in there pocket.

Anybody have experience with Al's liner or monstaliner? It's not for a truck bed, but for rockers/door bottoms/etc...

I think I'm going to buy a ReadyLift leveling kit (2'' front, 3'' rear) from a friend. It's brand new, still in the original boxes. And another guy I know will install it all for $400 and a case of beer.

Install is half the fun! That is if you have the tools. Does that include alignment?

I would love to do the install myself, but am not sure if I can do it. I would trust the guy who spends all week installing levels and lifts over myself. No, that doesn't include an alignment.

Yeah if the price is right get someone to do it...I put my rear bilsteins on because it was easy...paid a shop to do the fronts because it was beyond my abilities...well not so much abilities as patience...
