I had a 2010 xlt scab, then upgrade to my 2012 fx4 screw. I love the screw, just want to get the tow mirrors and the backup cam. I figure since im not that far into my current one, I might as well upgrade or get a used 2012 with the features, I want.

I guess it will all depend on what my current trade in value will be. All I know is that I dont want to go down a step in level of truck. Im spoiled now.

I wouldn't take my wheelbarrow to the idiots at Zarowny. ... and Douche bag motors in Bonnyville along with Cold Lake Ford are too out of touch to even be bothered with. My xlts sticker was 47500 and I paid 29950 before tax or 32k out the door. 14 FX4 was 61300 and it came down to 43300 before tax... or 46k out the door. The xlt is 38% off sticker and the fx4 is just under 30% off.

I could refer you to my sales guy too.... not that it matters as I have yet to get the $750 referral I was promised for my mother's truck... so I really don't care.
That's where I'm off to tomorrow for a fan issue. I had my truck there twice last summer as the fans were running far to loudly to be considered normal. Both times they told me they could not find anything wrong and to just drive it.

Well a few days ago the fans failed to come on and the engine coolant boiled over. Found all three fuses for the electric fans and the low speed electric fan relay were shot. Replaced those things and it's worked fine since.

Speaking of trading trucks I'm going to shop around this fall. There is an FX4 at Zarowny's I really like. Sherwood has an identical one on their lot.

I saw your fan post. At least put the blown fuses and relay back in. That way they can change them and say they did something on the work order. Not that the TFW that will work on your truck that just came off shift from Tim Hortons earlier that day will know how to do even that....

Glad I didn't go to BVille when I was going to do the Roush power pack. As they are a "Roush" dealer, lol.

Well I don't want it boiling over again so I'm leaving the new fuses and relay in. Before they even take my keys I'm making them aware today is just a diagnosis and they aren't getting a cent from me.

But, probably since I bought it there, CL Ford has been very good to me. Guess we will find out if something big happens but so far the small stuff they have been really good. And good workmanship, I had a seat cover replaced and was worried how the leather would look after, couldn't even tell they had done the job except the leather tear/defect was gone. I was expecting some wrinkles as I know it can be tough to get the cover perfect. Just one of the couple times I went in to get things looked at or modified.

They would hook you right up, why you worry. Ford factory trained technician straight from the Phillipines.

When I was first looking at new trucks I went in to cold lake ford. They would not even help me with what I was looking for. They just kept telling me to look at platinums and trucks with way more stuff then I wanted.

When I asked them about finding a used king ranch for me, or something similar, they took my number and never even called me back. I went right to zarowny which at least was a more pleasant experience.

Cold lake at least installed my car started correctly. Thats a bonus.

Considering I installed the 100 series and the remote access starts in the Westlock Ford parking lot in a few minutes... one would hope they could figure it out.

How do you like the oem car starter? I went with the viper and couldnt be happier.

Only downside is the buttons on the remote are easily pressed.
