Default Lethbridge guy

Hi to everyone
Bought my first new truck in may 2012 and its my first Ford in a long time.FX4 eco boost screw.
Been driving Dodge diesels for ten years. I don't realy need a diesel any more with the f150 max tow capacity. So far the fuel economy is the same for the diesel and the ecoboost. Gas is a lot cheaper right now.
Just bought another new truck 2013 stx rcab short box. 5.0 in this one. It was priced so good I had to do it. The wife loves it around town. Pulls in and out of parking stalls way better than the screw
I will be adding aux lights to work with the high beams shortly. These high beams suck! The rest of the truck I realy like.
Any suggestions on aux lights? I'm looking at Baja designs led stuff, ridged, visionX etc

Not quite in Alberta yet, but looking at a move this spring.
Currently in Ontario, and looking at the winters you guys get up near Edmonton...I figured I would need a truck.
So I traded in my loaded '08 Charger R/T for a loaded '13 FX4 SCrew with 402a/Appearance package. First truck, First Ford. I've only had it a week and I'm enjoying it!
Moving out there isn't quite set in stone yet, but if/when we do make it out...hope to see some of you driving around.

How strict is it around edmonton for driver/passenger window tint?
My Charger had tint on it when I bought it, and I have never been asked or questioned on it before... I've heard mixed things for Alberta.
Im not looking for anything crazy, just something to match the factory rear seat tint...I just think it looks funny with half the cab tinted and the other half not.
Was going to look into doing it before moving out there, but may end up waiting.

I have 20% window tint on my front windows (matches perfectly) and I haven't had any trouble from the police, and I drove right beside a cop on 16th ave in Calgary for about 5 blocks with my windows up.

Absolutely NO after market tint allowed. Sec 72(1) of the vehicle equipment regulation. Holds a $57 fine. Smoke factory windows are ok but no film tint

The RCMP seem to enforce it more often in my experience, but youll get pinched by the city cops when theyre having a crackdown on equipment offences. After numerous tickets on the QE2 (the north south corridor between Calgary and Edmonton) i gave up on tinting the front windows. Some cops will give you a warning and tear the ticket up if you present your vehicle at the station with the tint removed, others will scratch an x in the tint with a key. Welcome to Alberta!
