Hahah, I hadn't really noticed it like that, but it does. Thanks for the compliment too!

I'm really looking forward to testing out the amber this winter. And it would definitely be nice if I could separate them, but I'm thinking if getting a mesh or billet grille, so if I do that it won't block the light toooo bad. I've also got a 30" bar in the same style, that I'll be trying to figure out a way to fit in my bumper. Cutting, here we come!!! Lol.

Anyone in the Edmonton area have a Cap that will fit a 6ft box for a 2012, that would be willing to let me borrow it for a couple days this month?

Can you post some pics of how you mounted the bars clpeller?
It looks like you mounted the bars quite far back behind your grille. It seems your losing more than half the light on your white bar...
Don't get me wrong tho I love the install, you just might need to get a billet grill to get full use of those lights. If I could make a suggestion and this is only my opinion so I hope I don't offend. You should should mount your white bar like mine on the top of the grille. It maximizes the light output the higher it is mounted. And then mount the amber bar on the bottom of your grille in the same way as I've done the top. I've provided some pictures for reference of both was ive mounted. I originally had my light bar on the bottom and I moved it to the top. The output was noticeably better. The beauty of the 6 bar grille is the vertical supports are almost perfect for the 30" bars
Again great install and I hope I don't offend you. Just figured I'd give you some ideas.

Hahah. No offense taken at all man! I'm always willing to accept help if someone has a better way to do something. I actually do plan on utilizing the upper portion later on, for more lighting. Because ridiculous excess is always better. And I will probably get a mesh or billet grille sometime down the road, just have to decide which I want.

As far as mounting the bars separately... That's unpossible :/ Here's a picture showing why. Also, one how I mounted the bar I'll probably paint my L-brackets black eventually.

Lastly, I would have liked to have had it mounted higher (but still on the bottom), but with the bracket I had, I was already hitting a plastic holding piece (for what looks a small rad, in front of my rad) that you can see on the drivers side, 3-4 bolts in. I BARELY squeezed it in as it was. Lol.

Also, I'm away from home right now. So if you want to see any more mounting pictures or anything, let me know and I'll take them when I'm home

Annnnd the pics just loaded on my phone. So I see what you're saying about between the grille supports. Looks like I know EXACTLY where my 30" is going lol. Probably a 20 in the bumper too. Did I mention yet that I like excess...? :|

Oh I see! I didn't realize it was a 40" DR lol
I must have missed your post introducing this thing! That's pretty awesome how there's both in one light bar!
Now that I know more about the set up your running the only thing you'll need to do is find a grille that suits your tastes. I originally picked up a black billet grille insert on EBay for $120 but I liked my 6 bar too much, hence why I moved my light bar.
Anyway man, the bar is wicked! Your gonna love driving at night. I know I do I'm planning on getting a pair of D2 driving in amber but that will probably be next year. I missed a landing last week on my dirtbike and have some repairs to do, both to me and my bike lol

Hahah, I might have forgot to post it in here. But ya, I thought it was a pretty sweet idea. And I hear you. I love my 6 bar!! So I'm not sure what I'm going to do grille-wise. Sorry to hear about you and your bike. Hopefully it's a quick recovery, for both of you!

Hahah. I haven't decided where exactly I want my switches yet, so it's just hanging out near the jumble of factory wiring near where I put it through. Once I do figure out where I want it, and have it mounted, I'll post pics for sure.
