so if I fell asleep at the wheel, i'm not going to collide with a trucker.

I kinda thought about that. that's why on payday i'm going to go in and ask someone about it.

If the road is crowned it pulls right just because of gravity.

I have worked as an Alignment & Brakes Mechanic, and alignment geometry is designed to compensate for the crown of the road. Now a vehicle may drift off in one direction or the other due to an imperfect road surface, but if there is an actual pull one way or another that requires constant effort to keep the vehicle straight, then the geometry is certainly out. It may have been knocked out of alignment, or the parts in the front end have simply worn out, have play in them causing the change in the alignment angles. Also, if the vehicle pulls after an alignment is done, switch the two front tires. Because the alignment was off an the tires are now rolling slightly off and have worn both the tread, and misshaped the belts within the construction of the tire. Switching the tires alleviates this. If the tires are directional (and they will be clearly marked as such) this cannot be done and you have to live with the pull. But the average tire can be rolled either way. Some alignment shops won't switch them because they erroneously believe that all radials can only roll one way.

So I have a chance to trade my truck in for one of the few roush supercharged f150. It's from factory with full warranty. Now yah it's going to be a 570hp tire melting rocket but wil it handle the Alberta winters?

How reliable do you guys think this setup will be? I work way up north by red earth creek so during the winter it can get too -30/-40 up there. Do supercharged trucks handle that well? What about fuel mileage do they get decent numbers if ur not hard on the throttle all the time.

All in all the truck has everything iv wanted to do too my truck fx4 but this one is white. Much easier to keep clean that's for sure. The truck does come with roush intake and roush exhaust so it's pretty much ready to rock some Chevy/ dodge guys into the ground.

I have seen a few 11th generation F150s around Red Deer with the Roush package. Beautiful trucks IMO. As far as reliability, Roush has a pretty good reputation for quality products. That said, you can kill anything if you beat up on it hard and long enough. Fuel economy? Same thing. I am pretty certain you'll enjoy that power. I know I would! My 5.0 is the most powerful vehicle I have ever owned and I find the power exciting. You'll have an extra 210hp! Oh man, fuel efficiency? Probably the ****s. Excitement factor? You'll need Valium just to calm down after an afternoon in that thing!

I will say this, though. If you get it, I will totally let you let me drive it. I am cool like that.....

Peace

Yah ill def have to meet up with some of the guys on here once I buy this bad boy of a truck. So you think even for Alberta winter this roush supercharger should hold up and be reliable hey.

The fuel thing isn't too bad as I run 91 right now all the time in my current truck. I just really wanna make sure that for winter and even say for a longer trip to say BC that this engine and SC will be reliable. It will also be my first supercharged vehicle so I still have to get use to how they drive.

All in all I'm excited about this purchase. I did lose some money on my current fx4 but in the end this new truck needs nothing but window tint and maybe an aftermarket custom tune but I hear that the roush tune is crap.

Honestly, I can't say one way or another. I would imagine with the resources of Ford and Roush and their history, it can only be good. Jack Roush went to work for Ford after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in physics and a Master's Degree in math in the 60's. He has personally been involved in more Ford projects than he is credited for. His own engineering business does not need Ford to survive. They seek him, he doesn't seek them. I would not be leary.
