back from Edmonton.

went to Custom Truck Parts in Edmonton today. told the guy I wanted a fairlead cover, he asked for which winch. I told him zeon 12. he asks "dodge 3500?" I said "no, 2010 f150" he looks puzzled for a second and then I said "on a factory bumper." he leaves the store to look under my truck. I mean, gets on his back and crawls under it to have a look. hit himself on the hidden front hitch, and then I pop the hood. he looks at me, smiles and says "i'm impressed!" I looked at him and smiled back and said "I bought the winch here last Saturday, you can take pictures if you'd like"

ZEON 12 FTW!!!

Might be able to make it out, I'll just stay at our place at the other side of the lake. I been meaning to get up there anyway. Break in the new tires.

Nah, it's a ways back from the lake. Still within walking distance. We'll probably just stick to somewhere neutral.

since mounting the zeon, I've noticed a shimmy in my tires too.

think I may have one winter and summer out of them.

but i'll best be getting a job close to home, or i'll need new skins

BFG's are pretty easy to balance I hear. Maybe it's an alignment issue? A/T's are very fussy with balancing and rotating I guess. How many k's did you get out of them so far?

got em put on at 48000 even, and current odo is 92100km

I've got the alignment done a week after I met you in Calgary when the tie rods got installed.

oddly enough, the truck pulls to the right when the psfluid is warm.

Weird. Probably still having tie-rod issues in that case. Maybe different tire pressures? Just trying to rule out any simple things causing issues.

I'm really enjoying my new A/T's!

I understand man. I've tried messing with the tire pressure. first time the air's ever been modified in them since purchase date.

I've thought about the alignment too. been thinking about kicking it to fountain tire, just for a look.

i'm not doubting the ford guys, but i'd rather waste 150 knowing that it's not the alignment than to have to get new parts again.

cause if that's the case, i'll look for some heavy duty after market ones. heck, wonder if the raptor ones are the same or better. lol

Just throwing it out there I don't know how much the alignment is out but I thought I remember they cause it to pull to the right just a bit so that you don't crossed the center line just a thought
