Around here it seems city cops are fine, I've never had an issue with tint in town but the RCMP are a different story, they are more likely to give you a ticket for having it. They base it on a safety standpoint, as the side glass is designed to shatter into cubes so you don't get all cut up and can get out if necessary and the tint will keep it together. I don't agree with it but that's what they told me. If your window is broken and all that's holding it together is tint and you need out I highly doubt tint film will prevent you from getting through.

Where are you located? I have 2010 fx4 20" wheels and tires for sale, same as ones in attached photo ( not my truck but same wheels, courtesy of Google and f150 forum). Tires have I think around 70% but I'd have to gauge them to know for sure, they are 275/45/20 perelli scorpion atr. Wheels are in good shape no curbing and come with lugs. Only down side is, I had the sensors pulled to put in my 22" winter wheels. Let me know if your interested. I'm in calgary.
