Yeah, I'm Back in a F150
Had a 2004 FX4 5.4 and sold it July 2011. Love the heck out of that truck. Did the spark plug change around 95K miles, had one break and paid $1,200 to have it extracted along with some other maintenance stuff. After I hit 110K, little things here and there started to add up (rear end, tranny, front hubs, cam phasers ticking, burning oil and bearings). So we sold but I missed it.
After much evaluation and debate, today I bought this 2005 XLT 4.6 V8. I must say, I am very surprised, this thing can move. I read many post here saying the motor is weak and stick to the 5.4 but I must say it feels no different in the power dept than my previous 5.4 and yes I was very meticulous with my old truck.
My old 5.4 FX4 had intake and Borla exhaust and 33's. This new one has the same intake but Magnaflows and 35s. Previous owner said he did not regear and no motor mods besides intake. I'm very happy and pleased with this truck. Love F150s!
Future mods: paint the silver bottom with bed lines, get new rims and stereo system.

New truck
Great looking ride there. I have a pair of F150's, one with a 4.6 and the other with the 5.4. I can't complain about the 4.6 at all. Almost 190K and still running strong.
