Question Xenon HID question...

I want to buy some "halo" projector headlights, but i want to put Xenon HID bulbs in the headlights. Is that possible? Ive never had Xenon lights before so im a nooby when it comes to the subject. with the full HID conversion kit, i should be able to install that into the aftermarket headlight & be able to keep the LED "halo" right? I wanted to get the Bi-Xenon (low & high beam bulbs) and the fog lights.

heres the halo headlights
http://www.fordf150parts.com/f150-he...04-08%29-p-436

i found an HID kit.. BiXenon, Color: 6000K + Fog Lights Color: 6000K for 180.00 including shipping.

what are your guys thoughts on the "colors"? the site said the 6000k was the most popular. im not sure if i wanna do the 8000+k with the blue hue to it. just looking for bright *** white lol.

found these too, i thought they were really cool and i havnt seen any thing on here about them. ill probably get them. scroll down to see the f150 version.

Just put in 8000k's in mine same headlights just in chrome NP not happy with halos on these lights though only noticeable in dim light, I wish I could do something to brighten them up.

what color is the 8000k? just a small hint of blue right? howd the halos look at night time (without the xenon's on at the same time of course)?

was it pretty easy swapping out the halogen bulbs for the HIDs?

i know you wont have to touch the halos...they are wired up completly seperate...

good luck will be watching this post also...good luck..any question i can answer fire away...yet i know very little about these HID conversitions

Be sure to vote AZFX4 truck of the month ..

yes a very slight blue hardley noticable. Well yea they were easy I had them installed lol I'm not to mechanically incline + part lazy + not alot of time latley = pay to have done, but I did install the HDs myself they weren't hard at all maybe a grand total of an hour install time. Here are some pics
Day shot of halo as you can see the only way you can tell they are on is the parking light is lit
