Default Would you consider buying this?

Howdy y’all!

I’m new to the forums. I once owned a 1990 Ford F150 that I bought a couple years back but then sold it to buy something I could pack the family into. You can check out my old IG account here https://www.instagram.com/mildredthef150/?hl=en

Anyway, I am looking for an F150 to buy under $20K and I want to buy one with under 100K miles but looking for something with under 50K would be ideal. I found this one here but it looks like it has quite a bit of frame rust. The upside is it has ultra low miles.

What do y’all think?

Thanks!
Brian

I wouldn't touch that one. There's gonna be a lot more hidden rust. It's way way overpriced.

The frame is literally rusted through. Low miles or not that truck should be going to a scrap yard or to get a frame swap. I wouldnt pay $1K for that truck.

Frame is in terrible shape. Love how they painted it black to try and hide it. I wouldn’t pay $5k for that truck, let alone $17k.

my son was thinking about replacing his 03 F150
he was thinking 20k range
everything we've looked at has been garbage, not even as good as his 03 and it has 380k miles on it.
truck prices are insane right now.

your son should hold onto his truck and wait for a better time to buy. That’s exactly what I’m doing.

I'm not sure who is trolling here, but it sure seems like someone is (poster or the auction/seller). The linked ad/listing calls it a 250, says its never been in an accident, then links to the car fax which discloses prior damage/accident.

I know Valley Falls well and the map data shows Assaria, KS, which is closer to Salina. Run. They don't even know what they are selling, F250? LOL, if that thing was put on a lift, it would buckle. Look at the frame rot and the disclosure specifically mentions no frame warranty. I have never seen a dealer list that. I wouldnt pay $5 for it.
