Would it be wise to chip my 07 F150 factory motor w/o any engine mods?

Do you mean "chip" as in a programmer? You don't need to do any modifications to use one, and there are alot of brands of them, Edge Products, Superchips, Bully Dog, SCT. Yes it would be wise, I have an Edge
Evolution and I gained about 1-2 MPG and alot of power, it woke the truck up.

best 3 things you can do for your truck is chip cold air intake and dual pipes....all 3 of those together really make the 150's into monsters
