Hey fellas, just picked up a new to me set of Spyder Halo headlights for my 2008 F150. It says in the instructions to wire the halo rings to the parking lights wire. My question is which wire on the harness is parking light? I don't have a volt meter and am just looking for a quick reference so I don't splice into the turn signal wire. Thanks

brown wire if theres is one there. I'm not sure if the new trucks have the same color. But all the older ones are like that.

I can't remember what wire i used on my 08, But i just grounded the ground for the halo's and then turned the parking lights on and tried every where on the parking like harness.

Thanks for the reply. Im not sure if there is a how to on the forum here somewhere. I couldn't find anything. For some reason a brown wire seems to ring a bell with that wiring harness.

can anyone else confirm? for the lights I have it doesn't look like I need to ground them anywhere?

Just look at the wires at your parking light plug.

I spliced into my side marker light in the head light..works like a champ
