Default No power to fuse panel

I have a truck that worked fine, until it didn't! I needed to change my turn signal switch as my bright lights were not working' pulled the steering wheel, air bag. I did restart the vehicle while the air bag was out as it's 500 degrees in fl right now. It was very low on fuel, my driveway has a good slope to it. It started to sputter so I turned it off and went on with the repair. I wanted to test before I had it all back together and turned the key and nothing. No power. Then I notice the radio, dash are all dead. The key phob works, the lights work, the courtesy lights work and on the dash the odometer which lights up when you open the door displays and then goes off as normal but that's it. I started with a test light and I can't find any fuses that light up. Pulled several pcm and major type fuses and they look fine. Someone suggested there was some other power control under the hood. I don't see anything- other than drivers side front fender there is a small block with a 5 Amp fuse and a relay but I find no mention of what this is anywhere....I'm stumped, which electrical stuff normally does..any ideas? 06 Supercross lariat. Everything worked on this truck prior to my "fixing" it...

Since you were putzing around in the steering column, go check and see if your ignition switch is both connected and working properly and is switching on power when it's turned to the RUN and START positions. If not, check fuse F102.

Since SOME of the electrical circuits are still working, the problem is NOT under the hood. It's under the dash or in the steering column.

I'm pretty sure that fuse was on my list but I will double check. While I also suspect the ignition it's on the other side of where I was working. I recall seeing a connector on it- how do I check the ignition itself? I will go check that fuse in the meanwhile.

Would also add I hooked up my code reader to see if I can pull any codes...it would not communicate.
