Default Wire for led bed lights

I am going to start a project putting in the led strip under the bed rails in my truck: I was just wondering what gauge wire would you guys use for this? I know they don't take much power but just wanted some suggestions.

I plan to add some lighting also. Did you buy a kit or just pick some LED pods to use? Are you using a relay or do you even to? Straight wire them? Any details would be great!

I got the LED strips from amazon.
Amazon Amazon

And then I bought a waterproof rocker switch off of Superbrightled.com for like $6.

Im going to just have it hooked up so that i can turn it on with the switch when I need it. Wont be something I used everyday but will be great to have.

I'm in the works of making some led bed light kits. They will be made of led modular pods, 4 led each, similar to the kit recon makes but at a fraction of the price. Ill see how the first sets goes and then from there will start making kits for the guys here on the forum!
