Default Window Switch

My mom has an 05 f-150 and the other day her window switch was acting up. It rolls down fine, but when trying to roll it up the switch is flaky. You have to mess with it like the switch is going out or something to get it to roll up. Anyone ever had this problem or one like it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Either do a search or look in the maintenance section of this site for a fix for window switches. Someone had posted the procedure with pictures to fix the switches. It takes about 10 minutes, is simple to do, and requires nothing but a small flat tip screwdriver to accomplish. Did two of mint that were acting up and haven't had a problem with them since.

I had trouble finding the fix but here's the procedure, pictures and all. It doesn't take no skill or time at all and works great.

Default window switch

Thanks for the info.... I had mine replaced about two years ago and spent a good amount of money. My windows started not to want to roll back up again soo i tried cleaning the switches today and it worked! Cleaning did the trick.
