Question Have a Question bout a code

So heres the deal, everytime I am either in the sand, mud or street and start spinning the tires, my truck throws a code and it says something to the point of "limited throttle: throttle actuater something" and luckly I have my edge to clear it out.

But my question is, has this happened to anybody else? or could it just be my programmer? Thanks.

The code is set becuase of you spinning the tires. The computer reads this as wheel slip and limits the throttle to "control" it. ITs an anti skid control thats built into your ABS system. Your Edge is clearing the code from the PCM, but not from the ABS. The Edge or any aftermarket tuner, cannot access the ABS system. That code is supposed to clear when you shut the truck off then restart it and drive over 12 MPH.

I figured it was because of that but ya I just always clear it out then throw it in neutral and restart it. Also my ABS light is always on, could this possibly be a reason or problem?

unplug the Edge and drive the same way you do now. Im going to say part of the problem is the throttle settings that the Edge contains.

I might have to try that, the truck has always had the edge in it since I have bought it but I took it out once and got like 12 mpg and that blows w/ the amount of driving I do so its definatly gonna hurt the pocket lol
