gauge and sender are glowshiftl

yellow is 12vdc constant unswitched

orange is 12 vdc switched (headlights) optional

red is ignition switched.

I just read on another forum to run org, yell, and red together to 12vdc, which is fuse 22.

just not sure what the internals of the gauge are. I assume it may have something to do with the dash dimmer circuit?????

I believe there’s a multi colored led in that gauge. I could be wrong. I can’t offer much more with your gauge. I used VDO gauges.

Thanks, yes it is a multi color gauge. I will give it a try later today and see what happens.

I just spoke with tech support (Glow Shift) (856) 768.8300 ext 2.

Wiring is as follows:

green is oil pressure signal

Black is ground

Orange is 12v switched for head light dimming feature.

Yellow is 12v constant (unswitched). This is for color memory.

Red is switched ignition. This turns on meter.

It is ok to link orange, yellow and red together. This will run the gauge in a 30% dim mode, with non retained background color.

This to me is the simplest method using fuse # 22 with the add "a-fuse" adapter.

I patched it together this morning and indicating 60 psi at idle on a cold start up. I AM HAPPY>>>>

Pics to follow when finished final installation.
