How did you Mount the pods to the dash pad like that and how did you run the wires I don't think I can run a dual pillar pod as it looks that the bottom gauge will hit my programmer

The pod fits snug in the tray. It doesn't move. Removed the mat that's in there. Drilled a small hole for wires and ran them down. Set the gauges in the pod and and placed the pod in the tray. Very easy to do.

Was it a pillar pod or dash Mount and specific for the truck or universal

I've had a triple pillar pod and the double pod. Both were specific to the 04-10 F150.

First, great write up, it came in real handy when doing my install this weekend. The issue I have is my oil pressure gauge is reading very HIGH. When the engine is cold, it reads between 75-90 psi and at speed it gets very close to maxing out at 100psi. After running a while, it will hover around 50psi at idle but then shoot right back up around 90 at speed. While this is a re-man engine with 1,000 miles on it, there's no way that reading can be right.

I went with the exact setup you listed, the Glow Shift oil sandwich adapter and connected to the highlighted sensor port in the attached image. I've sent an email to Autometer as I'm thinking it's either got to be the sending unit or the gauge.

I wanted to poll the community to see what kind of readings are "normal" with the 5.4 engine.

Working with Autometer to fix my problem, we've got it narrowed down to the sending unit. Since I couldn't find this information elsewhere, I wanted to share what their tech told me for troubleshooting the sending unit.

To check the sending unit, measure the resistance across from terminal to ground with the sending unit disconnected from the gauge. Below are the readings you should find.

0 psi 242 ohms +/- 17
25 psi 152 ohms +/- 12
50 psi 103 ohms +/- 10
75 psi 66 ohms +/- 9
100 psi 30.5 ohms +/- 5.5

Hope this helps in troubleshooting a sending unit problem.
