VDO has been around forever and make a good gauge. My vote is for the Glow Shift though because of the styling and functions.

I read somewhere that it will but you will have to cut out the back of the hole. Hope it helps I just put mine in a vent pod by the driver door. AC still works with it also

I have since changed the gauge for one with white numbers because the needle quit lighting up in the blue one

Got my oil pressure gauge in. 90 psi cold around 17 psi hot. May try 5w30 next oil change (just changed it). All Glowshift components. Very happy with the outcome.

Bleh... Looks like some timing components will be in your future soon. Going thicker may buy you some time for a while.

I'm about 32 psi at hot idle running 5/20 oil.

Hmm, we will see. No chain slap, no phaser noise, nothing, runs very strong. Ford spec is 15 psi at hot idle. I am over that number for now. I need to note, I broke the stud off the negative post of the sending unit, so I noticed a wire inside it. I got my 16 gauge wire in there and got it super-glued into place. So I am ordering a new sending unit and keeping my fingers crossed that because of my method its not reading perfectly true. I kind of wish I had a digital readout, just think that would be more true to form.

How many miles are you at? Just curious.

Also to note I am at 75 psi at 1900 rpm. I know that is exactly where it should be. If I ever hear chain slap or diesel noise, it will be tore apart the next weekend.

153K

All my timing stuff was done around 115K after a cam followers seized up and ruined a camshaft.

So around 40K on the new timing stuff? 32 PSI at hot is really good. I was hoping for 25 PSI but that may change with a new sending unit, or it may not. Full syn 5W30 is going in next change, by then the new sending unit will be in.
