Default window squeal

Lately the driver's side front window on my '06 Supercab has been making a horrible squealing noise when going up or down.

What can I do to stop it from making noise?

my 05 was doing the same thing, then the actuator in the door broke and the window goes down and stays down. it sounded like the glass shattered, but it is a coil that came uncoiled when it broke. luckily, it was still under warranty then. within 6 months the same thing happened on the passenger side. i was told it would cost a little over $300 to repair if warranty is out.

if it sounds like the squealing is something mechanical id check into the actuator, if it sounds like its rubbing on the sides id try moleskin like they put for tinted windows

my 05 scab did that and i took some rain x on a rag and soaked it in to the window molding by sticking my finder down there with the window down a couple days ago and it has stopped after it has time to dry....not sure how long it will last but its not doing it now

It does sound more like a rubbing than a mechanical noise.
What is moleskin?

I think Ive got some Rain-X so I could try that tomorrow.

Ive been having problems with the window switch but I dont think thats the cause of the issue here.
