wind rattle noise
 

I know there are some old posts on this subject but thought I would create a new one since I didn;t know which one to reply to. As for the rattle noise above 60 mph that sound like it is coming from the windshield area my 2006 truck did this for the last 4 or so years. I have tried everything that you guys posted with no luck until this past weekend i saw someone post about the rubber molding running on the top of the cab down to the hood on each side. Sure enough mine were loose at the end near the hood. I super glued them, put on duck tape to hold them down and now my rattle is gone. Thanks for the remedy as this sound will drive you nuts. Great forum.

My noise is definitely from the 4x4 system. No noise as soon as engaged in 4x4.
