I have 35s with 2.5 level and a 2wd and just rubs on the control arm and a arm no trimming but those would be fine with some trimming maybe all tire sizes and wheel sizes are different what I've been told and read if you want those tires to fit is to have at least 5.5 backs pacing on your rims but Lil rubbing won't hurt

Yeah but rubbing the control arms is worse than the body or any plastic because the control arm is hitting your sidewall, the weakest part of any tire. Asking for a blowout.

I appreciate man! You just helped me out a ton! I'll post pics as soon as I get the tires!

It's still only gonna have a 2 ply sidewall, where a P-Metric still has 1 or 2 as well, except for those few 3-ply sidewalls like the BFG T/A KO and MTR with Kevlar.

And I have a long truck so I can't afford to manipulate how I turn. I would just rather stick with the smaller tire and still be able to make U-Turns and not worry about bumps while my wheel is slightly turned.

Tires are the most likely thing on your vehicle to fail that will actually kill you, not worth the risk IMO.

True true I got a long truck to with an 8ft bed its a b**** but gettin some offsets soon hopefully will stop rubbin after that but don't think tire kingdom would put tires on my truck if they knew it would kill me. They even told me that I need to drive differently now they barely rub only if I do a u-turn or do a turn to fast.

No they definitely wouldn't put them on if they rubbed that bad, but they did tell you to watch out cuz you definitely increased your risk for tire failure of they rub. You can get around it unless it hits the control arm as your mounting it up lol. The offset wheels will solve your issue for sure. Spacers would, but I won't say good or bad about those. My company just won't work on vehicles with them.

I thought about spacers but heard a lot of bad things about them and didn't want spend 400 bucks on spacers when I found 7 lug rims finally that will probably do a lot better than spacers for about the same price and yeah you can stick a piece of paper threw the upper control arm that's how close they but I check them often and make sure no major chunks are taken off and I've had them for about 2 and half 3 months and nothing but scuff marks but you kinda answered my question that I have asked about thousand times on here about the offsets lol

285/70/17 BFG is what I have "33" with 2.5 level. I had to remove front mud flaps and that's all no rubbing or trimming. I also have -12 offset.

Yesterday I was thinking about the tire sizes on my new 18" Monster Xd's. Anyone want to give me a little lesson on tire sizes. Right now I have 20" stock rims with 275/55/20R tires. What is 275? What is 55? Do the numbers go up if you want bigger or do they go down if you want bigger tires?
