Default will not start-need help

hi, i have 2006 F150 4.6l 4x2 supercrew, new battery, lots of cranking power, will not start, sounds like starving for gas, will run for about 40 seconds and die, but only after multiple tries and a couple hours inbetween.
truck has 272000 km on it, ran with no issues during the week, then on saturday morning -nothing. it has been very wet and damp in my area, when it became drier and warmer on sunday, it started and ran for about 3 minutes, i thought i was safe, then monday back to nothing, tuesday -nothing other than 20 seconds. any ideas??? i was thinking fuel filter or fuel pump?? plse help, thanks, Jack.

Definately sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Check pump and filter.

Its easily heard from the cab. It sounds like a humm from the back of the truck.

Could be the Fuel Pump Control Module.
