Will his lift fit my truck?

I have a guy with a 04 cew 4x4 (not fx4) with a 5.4 that wants to trade me his 6" bds lift for my stock stuff. I have a 08 4x4 with the 4.6. Will this work?

Engine size I don't think matters. Sounds like a sweet deal if everything matches up. Hopefully someone can give a definite answer but I think it's the same

Go to the bds website and see if they match up they should if they are the same body styles and what not and 4wd and 2wd drive doesn't matter either should fit
