They are same generation, so I would think that they would match up.
You could try contacting a local body shop to see what they think about it.

I want to buy your old bumper and foglight setup if you do the change.

ngm,sorry the truck doesn't have foglights on it now. Just the chome bumper.

No, but I have seen posts on other forums about people who want to trade years because because they like the square lights over the round lights, or the round lights more than the the square ones. I'm sure that they bolt up, but the mounts might be different.

For instance, I can swap out the 97/98 front end for the 99/03 front end, I just need different mounts to get it to bolt it up.

Basically they changed the running lights and that is it. Same bumper and frame mounts.
