It rubs inside the wheel well on the plastic behind the tire...I trimmed a little bit of the bottom of the wheelwell and it took care of some of the rubbing... but yeah it doesn't touch the front valence but I'm sure it will if you go off-road

Why else would you put off road tires and a lift/level on a truck?

Bro I'm just letting you know it doesn't rub on the front valence driving around town...I do off-road in my truck that's y I'm trying to see how high of a lift I should go to avoid rubbing...but anyways I decided to go with the 4'' rough country lift just to be safe

Ok, I didn't know that's why you were looking at getting some more clearence. Most guys here are against the 3" level because of the extra stress it puts on the ball joints. A 4" lift will be much better, good luck!

Take some pics of the install and post up a review on here when you get the RCX kit on.

Hey lp where do you go wheeling - I'm right down the street (boca) and I've been looking for places to go/people to go with. The best I have done is Corbitt. If you're down for some off-road adventures I would be more than interested. Let me know, and good luck with your lift. By the way, my tires are 35x12.5x17s.

That tire is close to 13 inches wide, no wonder you're rubbing. 35's are OK for show but not for offroading with a leveled truck. 33 or 34's are a better option. More room to flex and not rub while still looking good.
