Default 06 4WD XLT transmission slipping banging when moving off

Seeking some good advice and input here. I have a 06 4wd XLT 4.6L v8. I live in the mountains in Jamaica and a section of our road simply fell away. We have to take an alternate route now with the most ridiculous steepest incline anyone has ever seen. All of our vehicles have to go in 4Low to get up this particular section (only about 3 miles), but it is all asphalt with really tight turns. It bugs me to put our vehicles in 4 lo on the asphalt, but no choice until the regular route is repaired. The f150 goes up and down this maybe 1-2 times a week. Wasn't having any problems but recently I've had to reverse a few yards to get it out of 4wd instead of it just disengaging instantly with the switch on the dash. Didn't really think too much on it. About two weeks ago, I damaged two tires so I installed two new tires on the rear which were slightly larger 275/65 R18. Front tires stayed the same 265/65 R18. I drove for a few weeks like this using the 4wd Lo for this same section of the hill to and from work. Now the transmission is slipping and banging into gear when moving off. Not as violent in 2 or L but pretty rough in D. I changed plugs and coil packs as I read a few posts on it but it didn't do anything. Put matching tires on the front now. Transmission was rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago and the fluid is really clean on the dipstick. What to do next?

I have seen videos showing if you are attempting to engage 4wd and the tires dont match up in size you will get banging and popping when trying to shift into 4wd on the fly.
It really isn't a good idea to have mismatched tires and drive in 4wd because the transfer case will be trying to send the same speed to the front and rear differentials, but the tires wont allow this to happen without some slipping or binding...

Put the same size tires on the front today, and it was happening in 2wd moving off anyways. Just put some rear diff slip lock additive and sent it for a test rive and now it barely moves lol. Just feels like when a clutch is just about done, but the fact it happened right after adding the diff additive is making sense the problem might be back there?
