whos the man? i am
So after all the research and gathering the tools I finally changed my plugs tonight ( 05 f-150 5.4 with 95,118 miles) I went crazy when the eighth unbroken plug came out. I could not believe I had done this all on my own. I want to thank all of you who have posted your experiences with this. If you have a 4x4 and plan on doing this I do recommend you do it before you level it and put 33's on it. My recycle bin was my best friend all night long.

That's pretty good. By then they're usually stuck solid. You are the man. I did mine at 80k and didn't break any. I was worried on a couple as they were coming out.

Share each step you took...This helps others out to determine what path they take since there are a few different methods. Also, what type of gas? Did you run any cleaner through your truck prior? etc etc

I bought the truck with 88000 miles on it and I usually run valero gas in it because the station is on the way to work. I had a fuel injector and throttle body cleaner performed on it last week. I think the cleaning really helped. I removed the battery the computer and then all of the coil packs. After that I sprayed about three squirts of sea foam penetrating fluid in each cylinder. Then I went inside for 10 minutes and watch criminal minds with the wife. Came back out and loosened each plug 1/4 to 1/8 of a turn and sprayed more penetrating fluid in each cylinder and went and watch criminal minds for another 20 minutes. the last step I just worked each plug back and for back and forth. I told my self there was no way in hell I was going to figure out the removal tool and I didn't want to use it. after all the plugs were removed I put the computer and battery in and went and started (attempted to) to remove the excess penetrating fluid. The process only took about 3 hours. I remember reading a post about a fella that did the same process and he always said god bless at the end of his post. I want to thank him for all of the help. I did excatly what he said.
