Looking at getting some exhaust for my 05 XLT 5.4 F150. Found MBRP and sounds really good. My first question would be does anyone have this on their f150 and how do they like it? Also would i be able to tell a difference if i bought the full MBRP XP series system(2.5" Tubing, Muffler, and tip) for around 389.00. I belive it is stainless steel also with a lifetime warranty. Versus just buying the muffler and removing the stock muffler and replacing it with MBRP muffler. Would there be a difference in the sound? Thanks! Any input is useful!

Not sure about sounds but I do know that changing the pipes would make a difference in sound because the stock pipes are 2.25" and that'd be 2.5"

Just order the whole thing. It fits together and installs so nicely. You will fumble-f#*ck around with cutting you old muffler out longer than it would take you to just hang the whole system. The pipes and the tip really set it off nicely. I love mine and will definately be sticking with MBRP on any truck i purchase in the future.

Did u get the xp series? Stainless steel? What setup did u go with?

ive got the stainless steel mbrp si/so exhaust, best bang for my buck on any upgrade on the truck so far besides the edge evolution. i highly recommend it

I have the stainless 2.5" mbrp on my 4.6L and it sounds nice and agressive, just get the whole system because its definitely worth it.

Do you all recommend the si/so or the si/do? I'm leaning towards the si/so just to save money. Am I going to sacrifice a sound difference?

Id say si/do, I think do will be louder.
