whine from rear of truck

There are a few YouTube vids on how to take it all apart. Grab the driveshaft and try to move it up and down to check for play there. Unfortunately it seems you have to get the whole thing apart to see what your issue is. If you have a limited slip the carrier is heavy as hell. You'll also need to remove your rear rotors and potentially your parking brake pads to get the c clips out. Bet bet honestly is to watch the videos on you tube, that's how I learned.

Forgot to add, I think you have the 8.8 rear end. Mine is 9.75. Look up your axle code on your door to tell.

yeah mine is the 8.8. its eaither dig into the axle or just replace the whole thing for 400$

Wish I could have better answers but axles can be a bit challenging to repair in the driveway. Sorry bud.
