The flip cover is a good idea, just not sure if that's the look I want to go with.

Zap, thats a cool idea, I have an 05 so I don't really have that cubby hole. But I like the recessed look.

08f150stx I looked at there, that was my first thought but when I pulled the panel to see about wiring, there is a nice piece of steel about a quarter inch behind the panel. There is a space right by that vertical panel where there is no steel but only enough for one switch. That would be the perfect spot for one switch, easily acessible and out of the way.

I've decided to do something with the space where eej711 has his tan fabric. I pulled it and cut it all up. Now i'm going to add a steel plate about an inch recessed at that same angle.

I'm not too knowledgeable with electrical stuff so how would I add a LED light over top to show when each switch is on?

I mounted mine on both sides of the cig lighter like in the pic of eej711 it looks clean and have no problems I'll try and upload a pic later today

And for clw just add some switches with lights in them when they are on they light up when off they are off

My switch lights up when I flip it on. If you ground it to a bolt on the truck it should work.
