Treadwright.com.
They remold tires, completely different process than retreading. It basically creates a new tire in a process called Bead-to-bead remolding. Check them out. I just bought a set of 35x12.5r18 for $800 shipped to the house and they have a 2 year warranty. Right now the same tires are listed for $155 on the site so you could get them for just over $600.
Check this link for pics of the tires I just got.

go to the last page and scroll up a couple of entries. I have 3-4 pics of the tires. They aren't mounted yet because I have 18x9 Fuel Hostages coming this week to mount them on.

Not yet. I have pics on my build thread and have my 18x9 Fuel Hostages enroute. The wheels arrive Friday and it all should be on Saturday. Here is the link to that thread. Pics should be up Sat or Sun.

It depends. I"ve used discount tire direct and a local place that was a few bucks difference. You have to do the math. Mount and balance, shipping etc. Timing plays a part too sometimes. I purchased 4 coopers a few yrs ago through ebay via discount tires and got two $100 visa gift cards so I basically saved $200 on the purchase and no one could come close to that price

Discount tire and wait for the sales. Usually for each of the holidays they have a sale, sometimes there are also promos as well. Check slickdeals.net, I've picked up a set of 4 tires for $550 shipped to my door after coupons, promo, and rebates.
