Where is the air intake for the f1?

I was wondering where the air intake is for a f150. I know for a car it's down low but I saw that the intake goes into the fender but I'm not sure if it travels down the left front wheel well or does it get sucked in exactly where the tube goes into the fender? Just wondering how much water you could travel in without it getting sucked in.

It's exactly where it appears at the fender. The water would have to roll up an incline and get past the drain holes in the under-hood area of the intake tube before making it into the throttle body.

So basically it's safe to say that I could go through water that is past the tires? Also wouldn't the water get into the cab from underneath the doors before it gets to the fender line?

That's a whole different line of questioning. If you are planning on fording a river, you need to prep for that. You would need to seal the doors a lot better than the weather seals you have from stock.

Additionally you could probably go ahead and add a snorkel intake if you plan on going above your wheels, alongside sealing other parts of your engine and electrical system.
