That is great that they do stand behind their product. I had the same experience with them as well. I simply called them and they sent me the white stitching as well as the original grey. No charge no hassle. Yeah I saw that baseball stitch that looked great. I figured on my first time I would just do the normal one. That band aid trick on your fingers sure helped. I waited after I did about 5 stitches and then I could tell exactly where I needed them

Yes I too had those fake leather covers. I like them they are good for what they are. And the fit on my truck was good. As you said they are completely different then the wheel skin. Not the same thing at all.

I am very happy I went ahead and did this on my truck. It really make my XLT feel more like a fancier truck especially after the leather seats. If your on the fence, save up the $50 bucks and do it. Well worth the money.

how long do the covers last on average? I got one from Pepboys that wasn't wheelskins but another brand and it turned to dust in my hands after a year or so.

I have no idea. But judging by the quality my guess would be it will last me 5-10years. But then again I clean and treat my leather. If you don't then that is what causes it to dry and crack

Thanks guys. I just ordered one... My wheel is black and I found them on eBay for $42 shipped in black only. If you need another color, they are cheaper on autoanything.

Got it real quick from ebay and installed it today. I've never done anything like this before so I just went through it and adjusted the way I was stitching as I went to what made sense. Not sure if it was right or wrong though. The fit and finish is really nice and the install was going really well until the stitching broke!! It turned out pretty good overall, but would have been great if the stitching didn't break.

NICE! Since I have black leather seats with the reddish/maroon stitching, I may see if they can do the black cover with the maroon stitching they have.

Wow looks great. Feels much better when driving doesn't it

Summers just give them a call. They were a breeze to work with. I couldn't find any options online for the different color stitching. But on the phone they were very easy to work with and it came right away.

What color did you go with? is or just a light grey? My interior is the same as yours and would like to get the same color wheel cover you got.

I believe I got the charcoal color. I can't remember. I ordered over the phone to get the white stitching.

Color match is great. Looks like it should be there. See the pics above on the first page for the color match.
