Suppose to be buying this f150 for $18,000 this weekend. Seems like a good deal. What do you guys think?




2006 Ford F-150 4X4 XLT Supercab, 34,066 Miles. This is NOT a typo, the truck really only has 34,066 miles on it.
This truck WILL fit in a standard 7' garage...just barely but it does fit. This truck has been garaged every day that I have owned it. Guaranteed you will not find a nicer or cleaner truck. Truck has pretty much everything but leather. I have the title in hand ready to sell.

A quick look at KBB. The numbers above are for a private party purchase. When trying to value a truck, always ignore all aftermarket parts or accessories as they don't generally add value and can sometimes even lower the value due to limiting the base of individuals who would buy it.

If you are wanting to buy a lifted use truck, than this one is a heck of a deal! Just check over it good, check 4wd, make sure it shifts normal, etc.

Thanks for all the quick responses. I know the KBB is right about 18k, and although I like all the aftermarket stuff I know not to really take that into consideration regarding the price.

Looking around some more, it looks like if I was to buy that truck stock I would be spending around the same amount, then have to spend a ton more on a lift and wheels.

Mainly looking for a truck I can drive for a few years and then sell without loosing alot of money.

Taking a 8 hour train ride Saturday to pick it up, Ill let you know how it goes.

I'm in agreement with 06screwlariat. If she drives well, shifts nice and you don't hear the notorious cam tick I'd think you are good. See if the plugs have been changed too. also look for signs of off-roading, check the tidiness underneath, engine compartment cleanliness, panel gaps, any wavyness in the body and take her to a shop to have her raised up and looked under. with that low of miles she's nice. Just from the pics and list of mods, I bet she's been taken care of by the owner. good luck and sharp truck!

Take kbb with a grain of salt... Use Edmonds as your price guestamator. Their prices are far more realistic and sometimes downright depressing to some sellers...

Looks like a solid truck, just keep in mind that trucks like this aren't automatic sells, it takes some real work. Thus why this guy is basically taking a bath on the lift, tires, etc.
