Default wheel and tire ?

In the fitment sticky it says with my level kit it says I should be able to clear a 35 12.50 with my factory wheels. I have a the factory 18s now with 275 70 18 and can barely get my hand between the tire and upper control arm. I would like to run a 35 or 37 (if possible) 12.50 I was looking at a 18x9 wheel with a 25mm offset the whole offset thing still confuses me would those wheels get me away from the control arm to clear a 12.50 thanks for the help.

2 or 4wd?

For something like a 37", you're best off going with a true 4" lift.

Gonna need more than a 4" lift to run 37's.. and then you need to turn them too without burning up your tranny. your stock offset is +44 and your new wheels yo want to run are +25.. so you should be fine. may need to trim a tad depending which brand Mud tire you choose. 35/12.50 trail grapplers actually measure 13.4 wide.

Gonna riff off what techrep said: with those 37's, you're squarely into needing differential gearing beyond 4.10's to keep your transmission alive and make your truck feel like something remotely powerful.
