Wheel question!
So i finally picked out the set of wheels i want, but i have a little issue...I am not sure the big differences with offsets and backspacing. The wheels I want are 18x9 and can either get them with a +18 offset or a -12mm. What would be the differences or the best one to go with for a leveled FX4 with 305/65/18 tires. also the backspacing looks like it can be 4.5"-5.75". Help me out, Thanks!

Either one will work..thats a 33.6 x 12 tire so you can fit either no problem. Might have to do minor trimming on the lower valence but it is easy and will look fine.
It just depends on your preference of looks. A -12mm will stick out farther away from the truck. The higher number of the offset and backspacing (more positive number), the farther the tire will be tucked in close to the truck. So you have stock wheels which are a 6" backspace and if you go to wheels that are 4.5" BS, they will stick out 1.5" farther away from the truck than your stockers.
Hope this helps you out!

+18, I just put +10 on my leveled 05, if you put a negative they will stick out to much and rub on the back of your fender well, I have 285-70-17 tires on a 17x9 +10 offset rim and they almost rub at full lock

both would probably stick out a bit, but the -12 would stick out further right? Does anyone have 18x9 with either of these offsets that would not mind putting up a pic? Thanks
