Wheel adapters
Just bought an 06 f150 last month, and tried getting wheels for it but I just noticed that my wheel hub has 7 studs and 90% of f150s wheels r 6. Do they make a adapter or has anyone changed the wheel hub from a 7 to a six. Any help would b appreciated.

If you have 7 lug wheels you need to go to the 97-03 body style thread 04-08 did not come with the 7 lug I'm almost certain of. And 04 and up only have 6 lug 04heritage and older are all 5 lug unless you have 7 lug which is the f150 heavy payload package

You have a Heavy half, known as a 7700 series F150 for 10th gens. I believe it's pretty much a 3/4 ton suspension under your half ton but don't quote me on that.
I have a buddy who swapped his heavy half to 6 bolt but I think he may have swapped the entire axles out to do so, probably an easier way to do so but I'm not too sure what it would be |

Ford tech specs for the F-150 I downloaded for my 2008 list a 7 lug wheel (17") rated for 2400 lbs. Whether it is real, who knows.

When searching online, you have to look for F150 XL, Heavy Duty Payload 7-Lug.

Tirerack was just an example. When looking at other places that ask for make, model, etc... just remember to look for the XL Heavy Duty 7lug. Happy hunting. :)
