Interesting I have a 2006 SCrew 6.5ft bed 4x4 with 1-piece aluminum shaft and my U-Joints aren't staked.

Did they only do that to the 2-piece shafts?

The staked joints were on the '04 and part of the '05 model years. Your '06 SHOULD have normal U joints.

I paid $185 for the junkyard shaft, including shipping. I think the shaft itself was about $140
