Hi all. First time poster, long time reader. I have no idea what this part is called. I need a new one because the sun has bleached it all out and it has gotten brittle and is starting to crack. The part is the black plastic grill like vent cover looking thing that is located right under the windshield wipers and runs along the width of the hood. If anyone knows what this thing is called and where I might be able to get ahold of one I'd be more than grateful. Thanks in advance. The pic below will kinda show what I'm referring to. That is not a pic of my truck.

Mine is a two piece and the drivers side allways pops up, can it be replaced with the one piece?

Welcome!
You can paint yours using Krylon fusion. works very well.
I used flat black and did not clear coat it.
Mine has been painted for over a year now and is holding up very well.
Cheaper then new ones.

Kyle - Do you know if the one piece would replace the two piece? I need both sides and $110 is way better than $164

I also painted mine with flat black Krylon Fusion and it's holding up great. Took about 20 minutes and saved me $100.

Kyle - Thanks. I was afraid that there was an 08 vs 09 discrepancy. I'll live with it for now.
