Where did you get that antenna? Did you notice any difference in reception quality?

On amazon and the reception sucks haha. But I keep it on because I use my phone for music.. It got annoying on my garage door and I work at a car wash so the long one kept getting bent

I got a similar antenna and have the same problems with reception. I rely in satellite radio and pandora, but don't believe anyone that says they didn't see a difference in reception.

Okay thanks, I pretty much stick to the radio so I was looking at that antenna but I didn't want reception to suffer. Thanks guys.

If your antenna is getting caught on garages, you can cut a couple inches off and hammer the little round tip back on. I cut about 3" off of mine and still works great. It's still slightly taller than my truck to act as a warning when going into low undergrounds.

I actually don't have an issue with it hitting. I just like the look of the smaller ones. But don't want reception to suffer.

While they all add up, and prices might be higher now as I installed some of this when the truck was new but here goes...

#1. Pro Comp 130 watt SS 6" driving lights.
#2. KC pre terminated light wiring kit.
#3. Radio Shack 102" stainless steel whip CB antenna & 6" pot belly spring.
#4. Gotts Mod & K&N filter. Had trouble with the Gotts due to PVC being the only 3" pipe available near me. ABS should work better. I am about to swap in an AirRAID intake tube.
#5. AVS Vent Visors and Bugflector.
#6. Winch cover. Only helpful for trucks with exposed winches, but it is nice to have.
#7. PTM and reinforced for the 102, tool box.

It was a 9.99 set that were chrome. Only ones that looked like regular car horns. Sorry for the late response, just saw this.

Mine is out too, how hard was it to replace and do you have a part number on the bulb?

I switched to an internal antenna and put on a stubby.
Reception is very, very close to the external antenna.
Yes, I use XM radio from the HU as well as the iPhone.
