What's the coolest thing you have done to your truck for under $100?

Figured out how much wire I needed and went ahead and used heat shrink on it all so keep it protected and from standing out. Ran it with the existing wire loom, then under the cowling to the passenger side of truck. I happen to have a random on/off rocker switch laying around... Not the prettiest and will get changed out at some point, but works for the time being. I opted to wire it to the battery so I could turn it on by itself.

For $38 and an hour of time, I can't complain. I did find some brighter lights, but more expensive... 6 months later it still works and have used the crap out of it.
What's the relay for by the switch?

Painted my chrome toolbox black the other day with Rustoleum Bed Liner. Looks much better on my truck now. Hopefully it holds up pretty well. I don't really ever take big tools in and out of it so it should. All of the supplies costs me around $50 and a couple hours of prepping and painting.

I agree. I might have to try that. Having a prerunner running 37's it would be great for protecting the rockers.

Default Flash light mod

I always want a flash light in the truck but would it would rattle around no matter where i put it. i want easy access to it. So I found some Velcro that my wife had and installed it right under my bottom slide out cup holders. You can't see the flash light and it stays in place. Great mod that was free!!

That's so easy. Many of the best mods are like this one. Free and easy after someone thinks and then gets it done.
Thanks,
Joe
