Don't you have to get the little microchip inside the key for it to work with your specific truck? I really want to do this now! Since I need a spare key

have you researched the USB2 mod?

i went the quality expensive route, got a factory sync cable and routed it behind the glove box, with a 500Gb hard drive to hold all my music.

this thing looks stock, yet it isn't. while if you plug your phone into the sync usb, it will only charge the phone when the stereo is on, and when the truck is on...

since the 12v cig plugs are always active, this charger allows you to charge your phone... while the truck is shut off.

the chrome ring matches the chrome rings from the air vents on my 2010.

You guys are lucky can't get detectors in Canada and even if you could they are illegal! Well you can probably get them just not real easily
