No, the dimmer doesnt work. You can find colored incandescent buldbs though that would allow it to work. It's really not that bad at night, I've had it in my car for about a year and I drive at night a lot. Also, I bought the brightest LEDs they make, so you could buy dimmer ones lol.

I'd imagine the green film is the same on the center console, but I don't have a center console so I dont know for sure. Find the bulb sizes at superbrightleds.com or another retailer.


Here's a video of taking the cluster out. you're going to have to take it apart to get the film off. It's really not that hard once you start it

This one might be a little cheesy but i love my Flip key for $40! Everyone thinks its so cool when they see it. All i did was order it and take it to lowes to get it cut. They cut it for free for me since I already had the key. The keyless entry isn't quite as strong of a signal but its pretty sweet! Keyless entry was a piece of cake to program. Work great!

I have the flip key and can agree that it is awesome even though the wireless transmitter isn't as strong.

Has anyone added LED running lights to the front of there truck. Like the ones that are on all the time? kinda like AUDI has on there cars?

I just picked up a CB Radio for 25 dollars with a free antenna. You can get some new rims for under 100 if you bargain shop.
