I had a set of Yokahama Geolanders that I really liked. I ended up trading my truck before I got too many miles on them, so no long term test.

BFG G-Force Sport -- oh.. truck tire? =)

I love my Terra Grapplers. Wear is awesome, grip is awesome in this Florida rain and heat, and mud.

I have heard that the hankooks are pretty good tires. I have BFG ATs and I love them but they cost an arm and a leg!

I like General Grabber AT2s. They are great in snow, mud, and sand. Plus they had a
great warranty like 50000 miles I think!

General is considered a "performance tire" and they wear pretty good you will most likely get 50,000 miles out of them with proper rotation and balancing, as long as your not doing too many burnouts. I personnally have the BFG a/t they came on my truck but love them nowbeen pretty good in the snow and ice. Havent gotten them muddy yet. But the tera is a great tire seen alot of great responses to it, the grabbers, grappers, and i think there is one other.

Good to know. I have the terra grapplers on my truck, and have only put about 400 miles on them. So far, work awesome in the snow. At this rate, I will have to worry more about them weathering before I worry about mileage.

Terra grapplers were on my short list, i almost got them for my last truck. They are pretty cheap too. I've read mixed reviews on mileage, but they look like a good a/t tire...so do the generals and toyo open country. I really want bfg a/t, but cant justify spending the $. BTW, which size do ya'll think would be better, 285/65r18 (32.6/11.2) or 275/70r18 33.1/10.8)? Either size will fit.
