07 2wd Lariat.
I bought a 5/7 kit, but with the 5 in front my 285's are buried and won't be able to turn, even just in the 3"I rub on right turns. Here's my wheels and what the truck looked like with the 5".

285/45/22
Did you have any luck figuring this out. I’m starting to look into the 3/5 or 5/7 and wanted to see if you had any success. If it worked maybe you can post some pictures.
As I sit right now I'm on those 22" wheels with 285/45/22.. I rub going over bumps and turning. I haven't done any trimming on the wheel wells yet, but I also rub on top of the tire (underside of fender).I have a lariat, so it has the wheel well mouldings and I don't know if the makes a difference.
I'm not actually sure what my drop is.. I originally did spindle-source 3/5 lower control arm
kit and their 2/3 spindle kit. I have since been told they were not designed to run together. I can tell you from experience, they can, but you do have to clearance the spindles a little bit to get turning radius.
After the 3 plus 2 (=5 don't think it worked like that) I had to put a 2" spacer on top of the spring or the truck sat like it does in the above picture. It looked great, tire was slightly tucked, but there is no way it could have been driven.
Right now I have 1/2-3/4" gap on the front fenders.
