On my Edge I see 192 degrees for Engine coolant temp. Trans usually gets to about 154 degrees. Are these about average?

Yes. 140-160 is a good range. A trans "could" get as high as the engine temp but anything higher is bad. Heat is the number one failure or transmissions.
I was always 150-160 until I change my fluid to Max-Life semi-synthetic, now I hardly ever see over 145.

Yeah engine is 194-196 and trans is usually about 150-170 but thats when the temp outside stays under 75 and I dont use the AC...Summertime my trans was 170-190. I am going to be adding a trans cooler from a superduty in the spring...I need to preface by saying I have 37" tires though.
