Default What temps are you seeing for ECT and Trans?

On my Edge I see 192 degrees for Engine coolant temp. Trans usually gets to about 154 degrees. Are these about average?

Yes. 140-160 is a good range. A trans "could" get as high as the engine temp but anything higher is bad. Heat is the number one failure or transmissions.

I was always 150-160 until I change my fluid to Max-Life semi-synthetic, now I hardly ever see over 145.

Nice! I want to switch to the semi-synthetic, did you do the switch yourself?

My EOT is always around 195. My TFT is between 150 and 170. Sounds like were all in the same general area.

Yeah engine is 194-196 and trans is usually about 150-170 but thats when the temp outside stays under 75 and I dont use the AC...Summertime my trans was 170-190. I am going to be adding a trans cooler from a superduty in the spring...I need to preface by saying I have 37" tires though.
