What shocks for rear

I have an 06 4x4 5.4 short bed and I just replaced the fronts with Monroe quick struts. I have the fox 2.0s that came with the lift over 2.5 years ago but want to change them now. I'm thinking of staying with Monroe but is there a specific one or just go with the basic ?

What's wrong with the a Fox 2.0's.. surely that last longer than 2 and a half years..

Nothing is wrong with them, I would just like some a little tougher. Are the Monroe rear shocks with the springs any better or should I say.... worth buying ?

Those are load leveling shocks. They're great and people love them that carry heavy loads. If you don't, you'll probably notice a little more of a rough ride.

When it's time for me I'll go with the Bilstein 5100's. Have heard and read great things about them.

I went with them, but I tow a camper. They certainly keep the rear from sagging when the camper is hitched up, and do not raise the bed at all when the camper is not being towed. I have not felt any additional harshness either with them.

4 wheel parts has the Bilsteins on sale now with free shipping for cyber Monday. FYI.

My rear shocks on my 04 are original. They seemed ok until I put a Gryphon tuner with 87 octane tow tune on. Now I get wheel hop pretty easy. Is this something new shocks would fix

I get the same thing with my 05, pretty sure they are original. New/stiffer shocks will help the tires stay on the ground. I will probably go with rancho shocks.
